VANESA DEL REY
VANESA RODRIGUEZ DEL REY was born a communist in La Habana, Cuba. When
she wasn't sewing for her dolls or directing theatrical plays she was
drawing, a skill she learned from her grandmother. Centuries later she
arrived in Miami on a plane. There she studied the local language
(spanglish) and tasted her first cheese burger. The rest, as they
say, is history, and after blowing people's socks off for three years
at the Clown School she got bored and decided to graduate. This of
course was not before she had fallen in love with comics, and been
propelled into a thrillingly wonderful new world full of knives,
spandex and expletive barking aliens. She is now an illustrator on the
Moon.
